Scottfin was founded in 1994 primarily as a broker to the motor dealers and since then has grown into a National company boasting 7 branches country wide.

Scottfin is a fully FAIS complaint Category I financial services provider licensed to provide advice and services in short term domestic and commercial insurance and has agencies with all the major insurers in the country.

We are particularly proud of our “Hollard Select Broker” facility which in essence means that we have been given an underwriting pen from the insurers, proving the insurer’s confidence in our systems, our integrity and our ability to ensure our clients get the best possible service.

Scottfin is the leading Taxi Insurance Brokerage in South Africa and we attribute our success to the professionalism and dedication of our staff. All our taxi divisions are run entirely by black women (a FIRST in the country). We have a solid history of assisting and working hand in hand with the taxi industry at regional and association levels and have agencies with two underwriting companies, namely Clarendon Transport Underwriters (CTU) and Vulindlela Underwriting Management (VUM).

We are very proud of the size of our commercial portfolio and have very strong relationships with the insurers, allowing us to negotiate the best rates, terms and conditions for our clients ensuring that our clients always enjoy the best cover for their unique portfolios.
